I met one of my favourite clients today. They are the kinds of people I can totally relate to. The kinds that make me love my job even more because I really feel that I can make a difference in their life and they truly appreciate what QM team has done for them.
For these clients and for most people I met, at first they will be annoyed by the idea that they will have to sacrifice a little bit of their lifestyle, a little bit more saving activity.
So to make you feel just a little bit better… let me tell you a little secret.
We have this wonderful standing instructions from our current account to another account in a different bank. So every month, we always see the stash of cash going away to be put into better use. It makes us feel good to know that we don’t spend all of our money.
Lately, my darling husband has been bugging me. He thinks we should be able to SAFE more money. As in : SAFE.
So yes ladies and gentlemen… Baby D has successfully took ALL my salary this month into a savings account J I am sure we will not keep that up next month hahahahah… I know that for sure.

We are slowly building our Dana Darurat!
We have 2 kids, so my emergency fund should be 12 x our monthly expense.
Something that we have also been struggling to do.
Not because we do not save, but because we invest most of our monthly ‘savings’ away for other financial goals (yang jumlahnya banyak itu dan gak kira-kira maunya juga banyak banget seeehhh…)
So you see, even a financial planner like me still need the encouragement from my soulmate to do more savings.
