Liburan anak sekolah? And that’s exactly where we went this week. Perjalanan di pesawat terbang selama 4 jam cukup menegangkan karena takut si Dena muntah atau pupup mendadak. Travelling with a 3 year old is not my cup of tea. Lumayan si centil itu sudah bisa ke Singapura, Solo dan Bali. Untungnya dia behave. Jadi perjalanan cukup menyenangkan, kecuali waktu landing anak-anak marah karena kupingnya pada sakit. More candies anyone??? Seperti biasa, persiapan dilakukan dengan Dondi yang berperan mencari paket perjalanan. Don hates tour packages. Don’t ask me why, he just does. So we looked for holiday packages which allowed us to travel freely without the group rigid tour arrangements. One very particular airline had this great offer : Buy 3 get 1 free (I can hear my Mum saying : “Tuh kan satu lagi alasan kenapa anak cukup 2 saja!” Hehehehe). Sudah termasuk tiket perjalanan pesawat Jakarta-Hong Kong pp, voucher hotel + free pass 2 hari di Disneyland, voucher hotel 1 malam extra di Hong Kong and on top of that free airport shuttles. All we had to do was add another 2 nights with a different hotel voucher from a travel agent. Canggih kan??? The breakdown for the whole trip is as follows :
This is the highlight of our visit to Disneyland. We got caught by typhoon on the third day. Signal No. 8 was hoisted just as we got back from our visit to Madame Tussauds' & The Peak. It actually meant for people to stay indoors and be careful of the strong wind and rain. All the shops, theme parks including Disneyland, the harbour and bus operations were closed. Don enjoyed it so much…. He actually said, “Kok bisa ya, setiap kita liburan… activitynya berhasil semua, tapi kamu gagal belanjanya heheheheh…”
Urgh… menyebalkan. Coba ya bayangin, gue udah dengan super teratur mengurus supaya uangnya cukup, terus gak bisa dibelanjain? Memang hidup gue betul-betul ditakdirkan untuk jadi financial planner! Hahahahah! Luckily our fanciful Langham Place Hotel in MongKok is connected by a bridge to the mall. This hotel is by the way, rated as no. 1 hotel by the TripAdvisor.com. My highlight of the day is Dondi being sweet and taking me to a shoeshop that we kept passing by after the subway station. Pink jambon shoes... come to Mama! Heheheheh... Norak memang, tapi hidup gue cukup bahagia dengan reward sepatu pink jambon itu hehehehe.
Why is this holiday important? Well my holiday is over… It’s my partner Teja’s turn now. The kids are now happily taking refuge at my mother in law’s house. I’m back to reality. I come home straight to another certification examination. I am taking this course for Islamic Financial Planning certification with IARFC. Mohammad Bagus Teguh – QM Sharia Planning specialist also joins me. As I’m reading through the pages of the modul right before exam, Teguh whispered… “Win… liburan melulu… Dana Haji udah siap belon?”
Hehehe… pertanyaan menohok!
